Social inclusion of abandoned women.
In this era of heightened capitalist way of production and consumeristict life style, all those who cannot be part of the process and being neglected and made to feel unwanted. Chief among them are the widows, destitute, deserted women and women headed families. It is just because they are not of any financial worth to their families & community any more, they are being sidelined and looked down. In view of reversing the trend and to bring back their social dignity:
 SEEDS have formed abandoned women groups in 20 villages.
 Para legal training is conducted with the support of District legal aid council.
 Training on micro enterprises such as tailoring, packaging, mini flour mill operation, repair and maintenance of household items/articles is conducted.
 Women group meetings & get together meetings are organized at regular intervals – as for sharing, problem analysis and solidarity building purpose.
